Dr. Ido Cohen, PsyD
 

In his practice in San Francisco, Ido works with individuals who have experienced traumas, mostly early childhood trauma, addiction, relationship issues, individuals who are Bi racial/cultural and feel this influences and shapes their life, and psycho spiritual exploration. Ido’s passion for using life’s experiences to create authenticity and sustainable change has led him to do his doctoral dissertation on the psychospiritual integration process of Ayahuasca ceremonies using Jungian psychology lens. Ido offers preparation and integration services to individuals and groups, as well as various workshops and trainings on the topic. He is also the founder of The Integration Circle, an organized community of professionals who are dedicated and passionate about helping individuals and groups prepare and integrate psychedelic and entheogenic experiences into long term and sustainable changes.

Nir is a co-founder of a psychedelic harm reduction and peer support project called Safe Shore, a co-founder of Holotropic Breathwork Israel and a psychotherapist in private practice. He holds a Master’s in Transpersonal Psychology from Middlesex University (through the Alef Trust) and trained in Hakomi mindfulness-based psychotherapy. During the last 6 years, Nir supported and supervised hundreds of psychedelic crises in parties and festivals, trained more than 500 psychedelic harm reduction sitters through Safe Shore’s Holding Space workshop and worked as a mental health guide in various psychiatric-hospitalization alternatives. He also co-facilitated psychedelic crisis intervention seminars for psychiatrists in training and in the national paramedic school of the Israeli Red Cross (MDA).
